FAQs

Does LIGHTSTRIKE have electrolytes? Is it hydrating?

LIGHTSTRIKE is not intended to be a hydration product. It is a hard refresher that hits different. LIGHTSTRIKE contains alcohol, so please enjoy responsibly. It is made with coconut water and sea salt which contributes most of the sodium and potassium amounts listed on the nutrition facts panel. Nutrition facts can be found on the Lemon Lime and Orange Mango product pages.

Does it taste salty?

Not really. You may notice a slightly salty taste, but it primarily softens the mouthfeel and body of the liquid. The salt, in combination with no carbonation, makes LIGHTSTRIKE incredibly easy to drink.

What flavors are available?

Lemon Lime and Orange Mango are currently available. Lemon Lime is more of a throwback, nostalgic flavor profile. Very balanced, slightly more lime than lemon, just a touch of sweetness. Orange Mango is a more modern, tropical flavor profile that's tangy and zesty. Both flavors have a slighty color to them but are mostly transparent with a slight haze from the coconut water. Look for more flavors like this in the future.

What is the 5% alcohol from?

LIGHTSTRIKE is made using alcohol from fermented sugar that is then filtered using advanced techniques to remove color and flavor, giving the liquid a very clean, almost tasteless, source of alcohol. This is the same alcohol found in popular hard seltzer brands. No grains are used, which makes LIGHTSTRIKE gluten free.

How long is LIGHTSTRIKE good after opening?

We recommend refrigerating LIGHTSTRIKE after opening and drinking within three days. Unopened, LIGHTSTRIKE has a 52-week "best by" date. Keep it chilled and drink it straight from the bottle. We also recommend pouring over ice or getting creative by mixing it with other cocktails.

Why is LIGHTSTRIKE in a plastic bottle?

LIGHTSTRIKE is built to be as convenient and easy to enjoy as possible. Its twist-top lid can be quickly retightened, so you can sip, strike, and save it for later. It's portable and durable - ready for the party, the after party, and the after-after party.
